Fewer Harrington and Partners are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for the Jamestown Masterplan in Ratoath, Co. Meath.
Working with Beo Properties, our team has led the architectural design for this 19.4-hectare residential development, which will deliver a vibrant new community supported by a central public park, a series of pocket parks, and essential local amenities.
A major large-scale residential development in Meath has been granted the green light to deliver more than 300 new homes and a commercial building in the county. Meath County Council granted planning permission to Beo Properties Limited for a major project in Ratoath, set to construct 364 new residential units, a commercial building, and a section of the Ratoath Outer Relief Road (RORR).
The development, approved on August 14, will be located on a 12.58-hectare site in the townlands of Commons and Jamestown. It includes 250 houses and 114 apartment and duplex units, providing a mix of 2- to 5-bedroom homes across detached, semi-detached, and mid-terrace layouts. Each house will feature a private garden, with 500 car parking spaces planned.
The apartment and duplex units will be arranged across nine blocks ranging from two to four storeys. The units will include 1- to 3-bedroom apartments, each with private balconies or terraces, communal open space, and 152 car parking spaces.
The development also provides 266 cycle spaces, including dedicated electric vehicles and accessible spaces.
A key feature of the Masterplan is the completion of the Ratoath Outer Relief Road, improving connectivity, reducing congestion, and supporting the sustainable growth of the town. With a strong focus on walkability, green infrastructure, and high-quality homes, this project is designed to create a thriving, inclusive neighbourhood for the future.
