W.I.T Carriganore Knowledge & Innovation Campus is located in the southeast of Ireland between Dublin and Cork. This urban corridor is home for over 40 International blue chip companies. The Campus is located West of the city of Waterford in a magnificent woodland setting beside the River Suir. The site is approximately 600,000m² and currently consists of main sports playing pitch and stadium, sport pavilion, dressing rooms and two state of the art research facilities over looking the River Suir. The vision for the W.I.T. Campus is to provide a unique Research/Learning and recreational environment for over 10,000 students, which is centred on a natural woodland setting over looking the river Suir. The Master Plan consists of the following: Faculty Buildings, Students Service, National Innovation Museum & Enterprise Units for SME, Students Accommodation, Sport facilities, Research / Development, Enterprise Zone, Hotel and Apart, Hotel, Conference Hall, Commercial, Development and 4,500 car parking spaces.
